Zenith's 18 Karat Solid Gold Watch with a Magnificent Two-tone Dial
Today, I am happy to introduce this lovely looking vintage watch from Zenith. I was so amazed when I first got the watch from an expert after finishing the restoration works. A restored two-tone dial which keeps its originality and the 18 karat solid rose gold case are harmonious and gorgeous enough. The watch is 37 millimeters in diameter which is a relatively big size for vintage watches. The big size case that is made of 18 karat solid gold makes this watch more collectible and valuable.
There are few decent brands for beginners who want to start collecting vintage watches, and the brands are such as Omega, Longines, Cartier, Universal Geneve, Girard Perregaux, Rolex and Zenith. These brands are stable in terms of prices fluctuation and there has been no price reduction in the market. The Zenith is one of the brands I mentioned above and also one of my favorite brands for my personal collection.

The Zenith's vintage watch movements starting with 'reference. 25~' are literally perfect in terms of its aesthetic and functionality. When I opened one of my Zenith watches' case back and took a closer look at its movement, I realized the aesthetic balance of a plate and a bridge of the movement is almost perfect. And the durability of movements also makes me keep being a Zenith lover. Even more than 60 years have passed since its first release, the overhauled watch features good performance with the accuracy of only ±10 second per day.
High demand for collectible vintage watches is creating the competition in the second-hand watch market. In addition, as collector's knowledge for vintage watches has grown rapidly with their growing interest for timepieces, finding good quality of vintage watches have become more and more difficult. From my own experience, it seems really hard to find a fine Zenith's vintage watch compared to a year before. We would better keep buying vintage timepieces before the environment becomes more competitive.
