가죽 스트랩이 어울리는 토너 타입의 케이스
오늘 소개해드릴 시계는 오메가사의 빈티지 컨스틸레이션입니다. 크로노미터 인증을 받은 Caliber. 1110 오토매틱 무브먼트가 탑재되었으며 데이 & 데이트 기능을 포함합니다. 크로노미터 인증이 된 모델로, 기계적 완성도에 대한 설명은 사실 크게 의미가 없을 듯 합니다. 사실 외형의 심미적 완성도를 더 많이 이야기 하고 싶습니다. 쿠션형 케이스에 느낄 수 있는 안정감 그리고 14K 솔리드 골드 플루티드 베젤이 주는 다채로움이 더해져 마치 빈티지 시계에서 느낄 수 있는 아름다움의 정수를 보는 듯 합니다.

러그 간 곡률이 거의 직선에 가까운 토너(또는 쿠션) 타입의 케이스인지라 가죽 스트랩이 아주 잘 어울리는 시계입니다. 개인적으로 아주 선호하는 형태이며 빈티지 시계에서만 느낄 수 있는 감성을 극대화 시키는 요소라 할 수 있습니다. 옥스퍼드나 헤링본 같이 두꺼운 소재의 아웃핏과 매치하면 그 멋스러움이 배가 되는 시계입니다.

One of The Most Collectible Timepieces
The timepiece that I am going to introduce today is Omega's vintage constellation watch which was manufactured in 1970's. This watch comes with a stainless steel cushion-shaped case and a 14 karats solid gold fluted bezel. In my opinion, this model is aesthetically almost perfect for various reasons. The curvature between lug to lug is nearly straight. This type of watch shows decent harmony with a leather strap. A 14 karats solid gold fluted bezel makes this watch more gorgeous and exquisite.

The watch is relatively thin; being 14 millimeters. For this reason, I have matched a non-padded leather strap. When I put the watch on my wrist, it feels really comfortable and wearable. Actually, the trend in leather straps has been shifted from padded to non-padded these days.
The case is 35 millimeters in diameter and has 19 millimeters lug wide. The heart of the watch is Omega Caliber 751 which features 50 hours power reserve. The movement is mechanically and aesthetically stable and well-balanced. For about my 6 years of watch collecting, Omega has been always impressive and inspirational for me. I really love Omega and my love for it will not change for anytime soon.
