고즈넉한 분위기를 풍기는 벤루스사의 빈티지 수동 워치
벤루스사의 빈티지 수동 워치입니다. 'Arabic & Stick' 인덱스, 그리고 레드 포인트로 마무리된 초침이 매력적인 모델입니다. 처음 구매 당시 상태는 그야말로 '빈티지'였습니다. 다이얼은 상태가 생각보다 좋아 클리닝 작업 정도만 진행했으며 핸즈는 재생하였습니다. GP 케이스 역시 세월의 흔적이 고스란히 담겨있던터라 전체적인 도금 작업을 진행하였습니다. 운모 글라스는 별도 크랙 없이 잔기스 정도만 있었기에 별도 약품으로 깨끗이 광을 내주었습니다. 전체 복원 작업을 완료하고 나니 시계가 가지고 있던 본연의 멋이 제대로 발휘되는 듯 합니다.
시계 사이즈는 직경 38mm 정도로 빈티지치고는 제법 큰 사이즈를 보여주네요. 러그는 18mm로 필자가 가장 선호하는 사이즈입니다. 빈티지 시계 특유의 고즈넉한 느낌을 가감없이 느낄 수 있는 담백한 디자인이네요.
This is a Benrus' manual-winding vintage watch which has recently been one of my collection. When I first got this watch from a vendor at the flea market so called 'watch street' in Seoul, the condition of the watch was so bad. So I decided to restore the all parts of the watch. A case of the watch has been newly plated in gold, and hands are also restored by experts. A dial has just been cleaned instead of being restored.
The 'Arabic & Stick' indexes and red-pointed second hand make the watch gorgeous and attractive. A domed acrylic(plastic) glass is also very clean, and it should be treated very carefully due to its softness, more prone to be scratched out on a daily basis wearing. The case is 38mm in diameter and 13mm in thickness approximately. The case back, which is full of engraved references make the watch more sophisticated and collectible.
