My biggest excitement in regard of my vintage watch collecting these days lies in Disney character watches especially Mickey watches. The collaboration first started with the brand Ingersoll in 1930's. Then many watch companies contracted with Disney and manufactured character watches between 1960's and early 1970's. Such companies are Helbros, Bradley, Lorus and so on. Their watches gained a lot of popularity at the time. And now, the popularity is rising again.

I am also one of those recently charmed by vintage Mickey watches. They are lovely in several ways and make me keep searching and collecting them. The most distinguishable feature of this watch is its hands. You can easily find there is a difference in the shape of their hands. That's right, it's literally their hands. This simple but significant element makes this watch collectible and valuable, the main factor of attractions which makes many collectors eager to have one.

On the dial, you can see Mickey printed with 3 different colors. If you are interested in matching a strap, I strongly recommend you to pick one of these three colors; yellow, black and red.
