앞서 Cal. 2541 수동 무브먼트를 심장으로 가진 제니스사의 빈티지 수동 시계를 한 점 소개해드렸는데요. (☞ 리뷰 보러 가기) 바로 이어 양각 아라비안 인덱스가 매력적인 또 다른 제니스 한 점을 소개해드릴까합니다. 최근 빈티지 라인에 대한 저의 관심은 오메가에서 제니스로 넘어왔습니다. 제니스 역시 오메가와 함께 빈티지 시계에 대한 시장 가치가 어느정도 구축된지라 빈티지 시계 콜렉터 사이에선 오메가 못지 않게 사랑받는 브랜드이기도 합니다.
'영롱한 청빛'
또한 나름 현재의 브랜드 가치를 산정했을 때, 지극히 개인적인 의견으로 오메가보다 상위에 포지셔닝 되어있는 하이엔드급의 브랜드라고 생각합니다. 허나 빈티지의 경우에는 오메가와 비슷한 시장 가격을 형성하고 있는지라 합리적인 가격에 제니스라는 브랜드를 경험하기에 용이한 부분이 있습니다.
이 시계는 구매 후 배송되기전부터 이미 블루 다이얼로 커스터마이징을 하겠노라 다짐하고 있었습니다. 본래 청과 금의 배색 조화를 매우 좋아하는데요. 색이 잘 나온 듯하여 기분이 좋습니다. 시계의 베젤이 제법 얇은지라 다이얼의 영롱한 컬러가 더욱 빛을 발합니다. 시계의 심장으로는 제니스사의 Cal. 126 무브먼트가 들어갑니다. 1947-1955년 사이 제작된 15석 수동 무브먼트이며 47시간의 파워리저브를 자랑합니다.

With a Stunning Blue Dial with its Attractive Hour Markers
The Zenith, one of the high-end luxury watch brands in the world and has a strong presence in the Swiss watch industry. I have been waiting to review this watch since I got it first from ebay. What I am going to introduce today is Zenith's Cal. 126 manual-wound timepiece which is manufactured in 1950s. Zenith is one of the leading watch companies in the world and has a competitive position in the vintage timepieces market with Omega.
A number of people starts their vintage collection with Omega. However, Zenith is also considered as one of the collectible and desirable vintage watches for many collectors. The market value of the watches are stabilized with the price range between USD 400 to 600 on ebay. One of attractive points of collecting vintage watches is that we can experience the watches from high-end brand like Zenith at sensible and reasonable prices.
A dial of the watch has been refinished to stunning blue-colored. The color combination of blue and gold is always blow my mind and shows perfect harmony. A case comes with relatively big size for vintage watches. It has diameter of 37mm and thickness of 10mm with 18mm lugs.
On the brilliant blue-colored dial, the Arabian and bar hour markers are alternately decorated. Long and sharp dauphine hands are also very attractive with its sub-second dial. A newly changed brown calf strap shows descent harmony with the face of the watch. I am looking forward to wearing this watch for my first going out.
