밤 하늘 수놓은 별을 보는 즐거움
세이코사의 빈티지 문페이즈 쿼츠 워치 SEIKO VINTAGE MOON PHASE QUARTZ
밤 하늘 수놓은 별을 보듯 아름다운 문페이즈를 담은 세이코사의 빈티지 쿼츠 워치입니다. 6시 방향에 놓여진 문페이즈는 데코레이션인 별을 디스크에 프린팅하여 우주를 표현하였습니다. 촘촘히 놓여진 별이 문페이즈가 가지는 심미적 기능을 더욱 확고히 만들어 줍니다. 고대 상형 문자를 연상케 하는 독특한 폰트의 로만자가 시간을 표기하고 있는데요. 12시 인덱스는 붉은 색으로 프린팅 되어있습니다. 문페이즈 상단에는 반원 형태로 29.5일 주기가 프린팅 되어 있네요.
과거 80년대 세이코사에 발매된 문페이즈 쿼츠 시계 중에는 이처럼 모던함과 클래식함이 공존하는 매력적인 디자인의 시계가 많습니다. 하나 문제라면 '세이코'라는 브랜드의 인지도 때문인지, 좋은 컨디션으로 보존된 매물이 거의 없다는 것 입니다. 빈티지 시계 시장에서 높은 시장 가치를 유지하고 있는 오메가와는 다른 모습인데요. 오메가 등 여타 브랜드와 같이 놓고 보았을 때 비교적 저렴한 가격인지라 시계를 유지하고 보존하는 것에 대한 부담이 적기 때문 아닐까 생각합니다.
때문에 이베이에서도 좋은 매물 찾기가 그리 쉽지 많은 않습니다. 수요도 없지만 그만큼 공급도 부족한 것이 현실인데요. 필자의 경우 이러한 사실을 알고 있기에 이베이 항해 중 괜찮은 매물을 보게 되면 큰 고민 없이 구매를 진행하곤 합니다. 고민하는 시간이 길어지다 보면 어느 순간 솔드아웃이란 글귀가 마음을 강타할지도 모르니까요.

How distinctive details on the dial
The moon phase is one of the most crucial elements in terms of an aesthetic for wristwatches. A lot of watch collectors place a high value on the moon phase function when they collect timepieces. Actually, the function is not that useful for wearers. However, for its strong aesthetic reason, the feature has been gained popularity for many years.
Today, I am going to introduce one of my collection which has a wonderful moon phase function on its dial. The watch is manufactured in around 1980s by Seiko. The period of this time between 1970 to 1980, Seiko had manufactured a lot of gorgeous moon phase watches which are operated by its in-house quartz movements.
The moon phase at 6 o'clock is well decorated with many star printings and it looks like universe. Seiko's quartz movements manufactured between 1970s to 1980s are very worthy in terms of its symbolic reasons.
The watch has been newly electroplated. I much prefer gold-tone watches rather than silver-tone watches. I do not mind even if it is electroplated. In this respect, many watches in my collection have gold-tone cases.
